Change of plans….
Initially I thought I would be using this site to highlight vegan recipes and vegan living. However, I’ve decided to change it. I am that kind of person… Always changing stuff around and trying out new things. Vegan was new to me and while I fully support the philosophy behind vegan eating I don’t think that ultimately it is the best way to eat for me.
Enter the whole30. We’ve done ‘a whole30’ now 6 times, so that alone means something right? After spending three weeks in Italy and getting totally bored with eating vegetarian pasta, eating too much icecream and drinking wine every night, I figured it was time – high time – for a reset. As I’ve said we have done that before and always with good results. I just feel better if I don’t eat sugar and too much bread. Now the whole30 is strict but you can eat delicious meals without sacrificing a lot.
So what I will be sharing here in the coming weeks and months is easy ways to eat during your whole30. What to eat for breakfast? Can you do a whole30 when you’re a vegetarian? And of course loads of recipes. As it is this is the first time for me doing a whole30 without eating much meat.
But I’ll be sharing more on the why and how soon. For now, just now that this site is whole30 based from now on.
